Beat West Ham 4-2 away. Get Bilic sacked.
Lose 1-0 at home to West Brom.
Beat Man City 3-0 at home. Get Guardiola sacked.

By LFMartins86 Go To PostJust wondering, how many FM 2018 players do we have here and how many would be interested in a Draft Online League/Cup?
By LFMartins86 Go To PostBasically there's an established budget and people take turns picking players (for example, the players are ordered in terms of picking order, the last one to pick in the first round also gets to pick first on the second round, the first to pick on round one is the last to pick on round two but the first to pick on round three and so on).
I only mentioned this mode because it's more fair than having an online Premier League season and it's also more flexible in terms of player numbers.
It also benefits general player and tactical knowledge.
By panty Go To PostJust passing by, why isnt the game made for consoles as well?
For a variety of very good reasons. The most two important ones being it's not the kind of game that works well on consoles, it's the kind you want the typical pc hardware for, and that is usually most enjoyed by people not just playing FM, but playing it while doing other shit at the same time. The second very good reason is that last time they tried, it sold very poorly, because it simply doesn't work very well on a console. It's not much unlike how RTS games are fairly poor on consoles, unless they drastically change the formula, which would water down the experience.
Then there's other reasons such as mods being a huge part of the FM experience, the fact that it's very stat based which can be horrible to read through on a tv unless you sit very close to it, the fact SI is a small company and can't afford to gamble on this failing again.
Depends on the particular save I'm playing. If I start in the PL it's unlikely I would move out of the big European leagues, so I load the big 6 plus a few of the minor ones and maybe Argentina/Brazil view only. I never do lower divisions in this case.
In my LigaMX save I load a few Latin American and sometimes MLS on top of the above. In that case I do open second divisions, at least up to the point the performance doesn't go below 3 stars. I got it on my SSD, but the save files can become too big anyway. I've tried adding China a couple of times just to see if it's easier to sell players there, but I don't think it does anything.

Fourth in the league. Won the Carabao Cup vs title winners Manchester United 4-2. Beat Arsenal 3-2 in the Europa League final. Lost 2-1 to a late Alexis Sanchez goal against Roberto Mancini's Liverpool in the FA Cup Final.
£16.5m signing Mousa Dembele from Celtic scored 40 goals in 51 games and won PFA Player, Player's Player and Young Player. Calvert-Lewin scored 35, Sandro scored 28 and all three got 23 assists. We scored the most goals in the Prem by about 20.
TIme to resign.

First in league but on points with Hoffenheim in January.

“My initial reaction was how are Paris Saint-Germain going to pass financial fair play [ ed note: FFP is a largely ineffective system aimed at keeping too much money being spent on transfers and wages compared to intake]. That was the very initial one,” Miles Jacobson, studio director of series developer Sports Interactive, recalls. “Then it was oh shit, I better talk to Keith [Flannery]. Keith’s the guy who does the transfer AI inside the game.”
The AI had to be adjusted because a transfer on the scale of Neymar’s move wasn’t just improbable, it was impossible. The numbers driving the Football Manager engine didn’t go high enough to allow it in past years. Jacobson, who approaches the game with an eye toward as much realism as he can muster, only saw one transfer top 150 million pounds in last year’s version in all the years he simulated. The changes were going to have to be fairly drastic.

That looks a fun team, Wooden. D'Amico and Arp, wheeew.
Also suppose not many are interested in a draft season then? :(

I've just won Atlético Madrid's first trophy for 10 years. I was in charge for 3 months. Europa League won. Next season I win the Euro Super Cup. Now the bit that pisses me off no end...
...the fucking board say they always expected to win and to keep celebrations to a minimum!

Going in on my last two undergraduate finals this week. After that I'll get back into the digital footy.

Lmao my bad.
Well now I'm done with my degree, now I can go back to gaming. Does FM ever go on sale, I really don't want to pay the #fullamount.
Disgusting tackle on KDB, I hope Puncheon gets banned for that.
Teams can’t stop us without kicking the fuck out of us and it’s costing players in a World Cup year, I’m proper fucked off with that.

Had a ridiculous CL final comeback against Juve. Wanted to upload the highlights but the game crashed during the encoding and of course it didn't save :( I managed to the save the match beforehand, but it's not the same as having it on your record. So lame.
Genuinely one of the best comebacks I've ever had.

Just won the most Arsenal league title ever.
Managed by Kloppo and with a 34 year old Cavani leading the line, Arsenal go on a 14 match winning run that sees Bellerin shoot up the assist table with 17 total and Cavani score almost 30 league goals. At some point I found myself 16 points behind (With 2 matches in hand iirc). I face them at home resigned to at least not let them do the double over me... little did I know that our seasons were going to change drastically:
Arsenal's season:

The key was probably that Pool away game. I have a terrible record away against top 6. Even a draw would've been it, but I managed to win it almost last minute:

Yup, and Spurswere having a horrible season. Also they couldn't beat Chelsea all season. They faced each other in the Cup first and CL semis around that time and Chelsea knocked them out, so they went trophyless in the end. It was so beautiful to see after they were pretty much doing what City is doing irl.
Started playing this game over the weekend, bit annoyed that it starts with all current transfers/squads. I wanted to clear house at Arsenal myself.

As opposed to what, August’s squads?

Tempted to restart with the winter update. Only United change is Sanchez, but considering in my current save he's at Real Madrid, still starting at 35 and won the Balloon Door, that he's got fucking stupid stats and degens slowly.

I'm amazed he kept his job for so long. Poch, Mou and Pep are always the first managers to go in FM. Pep always ends up managing Milan or something, Mou never manages other clubs.

Heads up for those who want FM19. Beta is also included according to the description and you get the code right away.
Wooden and I used the site for Two Point Hospital in the past, now they got a discount for FM19 and an additional discount via code.
https://www.voidu.com/en/football-manager-2019-3
The code is SUMMER18
If the code is in, it should come out at £30.44 for you Brexit lads or €33,69 for the Eurolads.
According to Hixx it's even cheaper, but somehow the price is bugged for me.
