By NinjaFridge Go To PostGame keeps freezing anytime I try to play a mission on the war map :(:|
Sucks.
Hope they fix it before the vault opening.
Also, what's the vault opening ?
By NinjaFridge Go To PostI think it's the first DLCI sorta felt that, but got a notification for something else 2 days ago?
:|
We'll see in 4 days i guess.
By giririsss Go To PostIt might be too strong, and the machine gun too weak. I don't think i've ever used it after I got the assault rifle. The SMG is pretty great for fast paced stealth clears once you turn it into a silenced nail gun.
I'll level up the assault rifle next, you've convinced me :b

Uhhh. So I just got the ability (from the first trailer) to ram through obstacles. What thee fuck at this game? Haha. I was NOT expecting it to go there.

Got my game working again. Verified the integrity of the game files and found 5 files that had to be downloaded again.
Just finished. Wow that last fight was p bullshit.
EDIT: Overall, really really good. Wish there was more encounter variety, but I guess sticking to what you do best also works.

Just finished it. I actually thought the last fight was hard until I decided to stop using the heavy weapons and just dual wielded the scoped assault rifles (which is the strongest weapon in the game by far). Ended up having a blast in that last fight.
Great game. I had a helluva time playing it and I really liked just how crazy the story was willing to get at times.

I seem to be nearing the end now. I've been enjoying it, game looks really nice and guns are a lot of fun to use. I find that you die really easy though if you don't keep yourself in cover most of the time, when really I would like to run around gun blazing more. I also find the feedback from being hit is very weak.
Anyway, the characters, voice-acting and writing are great once again. I'm glad that MachineGames are still here to give us rich narrative driven singe-player first-person shooters.

If you're dying a lot I suggest lowering difficulty. Game moves a lot better when you're just running around putting shotgun slugs in Nazi faces. Shouldn't be your problem these devs can't get the difficulty settings right.

I played through on normal and ... it was exactly that.
Finished the game and the ending felt rather abrupt.
Overall I liked the direction from the first title alot more.
Allthough they got some hilarious stuff in and I wish they would have been alot more fleshed out.
Like the scene in the Diner, that's exactly what the game needed.
And what others have said here already, a bigger enemy variety, maybe different guns.
I love MachineGames and they delievered, but you can see that could have done alot more with a higher budget/more employees.

The finale was a lot easier for me when i did this too. Though not duel weilding.
The only complaint I have so far is the size of the subtitles and the text in general. Damn, those things are small. I already wear my glasses and even though I sit only 2 meters away from my 42" TV I can barely read them...
Just picked this game up today and played through to the right after the courtroom, game is pretty cool.
Ended up starting on Normal and died without knowing why like three times and lowered it to the easiest. Now it seems too easy. Not a huge fan of the feedback you get from getting shot, really seems like if it isn't a heavy weapon hitting you, you don't feel it. Makes it kind of frustrating when you have full armor and then die in a fight cause you don't see that you were getting chipped the whole time.
The story is a pretty good mix of alternate history, consipiracy theory, and sci fi. Like Super Spesh, reminds me of Sean Penn in Carlito's Way, wish they wouldn't have killed him, though it was a pretty tense moment and pretty good swerve. I also really like the differences between this and Doom, brings me back to the 90s, with BJ's backstory actually mattering and Doom guy still just being Doom guy.

Alright, finished this up last night, was pretty enjoyable. Never ended up putting the game on a harder difficulty, mostly because the feedback when getting hit is so poor I didn't want to waste time. Other than that, really liked most of the action in the game.
Liked the places that this game goes to. The cities in America are pretty good looking, even if they have been destroyed. Every cutscene was also acted really well, and almost all of them had a nice push on the story. Really enjoyed BJ's one liners during the game's second half as well, favorite was "Population: bunch of Nazi asshole" when he is getting the ODIN codes, followed by "Popularion: Zero" when you take everyone out. Also enjoyed the credits, kind of reminded me of the end of Dawn of the Dead remake.
Really hope we get a part three, even though I never played The New Order or The Old Blood. Don't know what I want for it, but if they keep the same type of philosophy going into it, should be fun.
