By Maniel Go To PostWatched this show this weekend. I’m going through serious withdrawal already. I’m wondering what the plot line with Wendy and the cat will lead to.
Huh, I kinda thought that was just sort of there for flavor, to show how she was coping with the move. Back in Boston she had a relationship and peers, and now that she's working at Quantico, the environment is hostile towards her lifestyle.
Although, another part of me thought they were gonna go full horror for a second and instead of a cat, have some human just reach in and take the cat food, ha.
I almost didnt watch this because I'm not a fan of gory shows and when I checked commonsensemedia they claimed it was full of grisly murders and violence. Based on reviews though, I gave it a shot (no pun intended). First episode wasn't as bad as people make it out to be, but it really picks up in episode 2 and by then I was hooked and binging. Nowhere in the 10 episodes did I find the violence CSM talked about. Seems irresponsible on their part. Regardless, I hated the way the season ended because I wanted more. Recommended it to my parents and my dad called me yesterday and asked why I would recommend this "bore of a show". I said watch the second episode. He called back later in the evening thanking me. He's hooked.
First show since Stranger Things that I've truly binge watched. I didn't really get all the complaints about the relationship and the acting. Thought it was a very well done foil to Holden's budding relationships with the killers, and Holden is obviously an odd person with issues of his own that are being inflamed by the views of his subjects. Loved every minute of it, the cast was great, the killers were chilling, the cinematography was outstanding, and I can't wait to see more of those teasers for the Kansas killer.
Never understood the significance of the guy in the limited intervals, with dark hair and glasses. I thought he’d cross paths with the behavioral science team, but he never did. Is he being saved for season 2?

I didn't know who he was while watching the show initially, so I googled "serial killer" and the name of the city they kept showing and discovered who it was. No idea what the end-game is with that storyline. I assumed they were just showing him to foreshadow the result of all the work Tench and Ford were doing.
"i want to start a dialogue with you"
Watching the first episode and thinking do people talk like this

Also, Anna Torv was great. I only have seen her in Fringe before, but holy shit, her character was on point.
Really great show, felt like a FBI season of the Wire. Only no Baltimore. Same amount of psychos tho.
Hardest thing was reminding myself Holden isn't Dennis from Sunny in Philly, some of that arc was spot on for that. Or EviLore really.

By SNATCHER Go To PostAny chances second season on 2018?Looking unlikely.
This has been absolutely the best thing netflix has put out for me. Every aspect of it has a superb amount of effort put in to it and each interview is enrapturing. Love the X-filesesque setup of the whole thing.
I'm wondering if we'll get timeskips between seasons like Halt and Catch Fire given the subject matter of following killers like the one from the cold opens who were active for decades.

Knowing who the mystery man is and his connection to Holden or more specifically, to the real FBI agent Holden is based on, John E. Douglas, is the key to the endgame.
Just started watching this the other day, hooked immediately. Great acting and sense of drama. I'm only a few eps in, but I'm really loving the Ed Kemper interviews. Going to try and finish it this weekend.
YES, thanks for the vid :) They did a great job.
By vastag Go To PostTV and real Kemper interviews side by side. Big props to the actor, he nailed the manerisms:
