By s y Go To PostThe FBI hasn't released any info that his wife is dead so its not like it's on the internet or anything. Remember, they picked up the body before any one else and have kept it under wraps.
Elliot still doesnt know Darlene is working with the feds either.
And Tyrell did literally put stage 2 together while Elliot was in prison so hes got hacking skills for sure.
But Tyrell is obsessed with his family.
I feel like he would be keeping track of their shit 24/7. Especially as he doesn't have access to the baby monitor and he is reading online that Jo has gone quiet. Surely he would have tried to find out what is going on.
By Shanks D Zoro Go To PostBut Tyrell is obsessed with his family.But....how? The Dark Army is likely monitoring everything hes doing. As far as hes aware, Joanna is in the loop and aware of his situation. He trusts in Irving . He's also still the most wanted guy in the world. He has to be super, super cautious..

Elliot fucks up too, doesnt know his sister is living with FBI agents, was in prison and dint know F Society was being taken out. He even hacked the FBI and still doesnt know that they're some what aware of his relationship with Tyrell and the Dark Army.
elliot is all kind of fucked up and believed Darlene's excuse. Tyrell just doesn't seem the type to settle for anything that seems out of the ordinary.
He was really poorly written this episode. Instead of saying 'I want contact with them now,' he decides to settle on 'we will meet up on Monday.'

He saw what happened the last time he took matters into his own hands and tried to escape to go see his family. Dark Army had that shit covered. Why would he try to force their hand again? That would seem out of the ordinary.

He has had no contact with his family in weeks, but he barely seemed to care/find it odd.
You are right though, he has gone full crazy, too. Fully believes in the whole god complex.

Did Darlene steal Dom's identity in that bar scene? Those questions she was asking was pretty much standard social engineering,no?
Maybe "Darlene" doesn't actually die but escapes to Budapest with another identity or something.

One take episode confirmed. From Collider's 6 episode review:
USA sent critics six episodes of the third season to review, and for good reason. The season really doesn’t come together until Episode 5, which is shot (Birdman-style) like one long take. It’s a horror-filled nightmare in a high-rise, where we first follow Elliot and then Angela (Portia Doubleday) through an increasingly chaotic set of scenes. That chaos continues into the sixth episode, where the battle for Elliot’s soul, and the fate of Stage 2, is as thrilling as any sequence from the show’s first season.

That's pretty possible - just got done watching the episode and yeah that scene stood out a lot for Darlene profiling Dom and getting some pretty basic info to get by as her.
By s y Go To PostOne take episode confirmed. From Collider's 6 episode review:Yikes thats gonna be bad
I still like the story to the show but the dialogue is bargain basement this season and its really hurt the acting. Feel like USA is really coming down on them and trying to take the show mainstream

that sounds incredible
PSA: Skip the next Mr. Robot at your own peril
So if you’ve kept up, you know the show is really, really good this year. But I’m here to say that you haven’t seen anything yethttp://ew.com/tv/2017/11/07/mr-robot-season-3-episode-5-clip/
That’s because the fifth episode of season 3, which airs on Wednesday, Nov. 8 at 10 p.m. ET on USA, is unlike anything the show has done before, in the best way possible. To say anything else about the hour — beyond the fact that it’s commercial-free for a reason — would ruin a lot of the fun.
By domino Go To Postthat was weird wasnt it?They spent too much time on Angela, not that I dont like the character but the scenes dragged.
The one shot gimmick was a waste because the cuts were so obvious. The first half with Elliot running away and Darlene confessing were the best bits.
Elliot guessing wrong that the glue sniffing old lady was a noob was hilarious though.
that gimmick really hurts dialogue scenes, and the technology has been dumbed down tremendously this season (all angela really did that we saw was transfer files via a usb drive) but it was a decent enough episode with some genuine tense moments and a lot of stupid stuff. Please break reality so something cool can happen

see the angela stuff was interesting to me because that was a job setup specifically for elliot and even irving was surprised she was able to pull it off.
you can see elliot run behind her while she's at the elevator, i guess going to do what she had already done.
the more i think about it the more i like the episode. during the watch i was just so engrossed in keeping up.
i gotta give esmail his props on this ep even if it wasn't much plot development.

Episode 6 seems to be way more interesting.
i had the same "that's it?" feeling too. it seemed like such a weird part to cut the episode at and i don't think they rolled the credits right after either IIRC. it went straight to commercial
It was treated like a big action scene. If you break it down as part of a larger whole it was meant to be used as a “point of no return” plot moment. I liked it, but yea it obviously covered a very specific thing and that’s fine.
All caught up. Decent season so far. Wong and Cannavale are scene stealing to an almost shameful degree.
This episode was overhyped, but I still enjoyed it. Had me on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen to Angela.
100%

The episode was very tense, the takes looked awesome. But yeah, nothing specific really happened that would justify the hype.
By Bowser Go To PostTonight's episode was so, so good.can't wait to watch.
I think we can agree this season is already leaps and bounds above season 2 yeah?
Especially after this episode?
Especially after this episode?
Yes this is much better than S2. S2 was great but didn't uncover anything, made things much more convoluted.
That whole segment of Elliot going towards the server room, walking two steps, then bashing his head against the wall and so on was crazy good.

By Shanks D Zoro Go To PostFuckingLast episode was not even hinting anymore. That was some in your face stuff, but could also just be Esmail trolling the people who have that theory.

Zing.
I also feel there were some pretty strong time traveltheory hints.
Im more convinced Esmail is trolling. Using the same actress for young Angela they used for the girl who interviewed Angela when she got snatched by the Dark Army isn't even a hint like KYM said, it's too blatant.
I'm convinced Angela has been super crazy for a while now. To the point of seeing things.

Yeah, that episode aaaaaaalmost killed all the alt reality/time travel theories.
Esmail has done a good job treating the audience like one of the characters. We're sitting here thinking there might be some scifi twist but in reality it's probably just the rich and powerful manipulating the masses. Like always.

By Shanks D Zoro Go To PostFuck me, what an episode. This has become my comment after every episode recently.
Intro was amazing. The episode was depressing but made so well.
