Summers span decades. Winters can last a lifetime. And the struggle for the Iron Throne continues.
It stretches from the south, where heat breeds plots, lusts and intrigues, to the vast and savage eastern lands, where a young queen raises an army. All the while, in the frozen north, an 800-foot wall of ice precariously protects the war-ravaged kingdom from the dark forces that lie beyond. Kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars, lords and honest men...all play the 'Game of Thrones.'

Haven't really watched the show consistently since S3, not a big fan despite loving the first three books. Did watch the last two eps of S6 and thought they were good though; the opening 15/20 mins of the last episode especially were fantastic, leagues beyond the quality they usually show.
Will probably watch this season.

I want them to blue ball everyone and give the dragons some other bullshit to do until the season finale.
Maybe some slave owning island pops up on the way to Westeros.

It was a boring half of an episode, and it also confirms the plot leaks, meaning I can't wait to see the rest of the season.

What are they?
The Sam montage is about a passage of time. Not necessarily that the food starts to look shit after the smash cuts. It conveyed he's been doing that shit for days on end finally got the courage to take the keys and get the books.

Not a great episode but I enjoyed it. The second half dragged on too long to set up so little.
HBO GO sent me to episode one of the entire series and I watched for a good five minutes thinking its weird they are wasting so much time on a flashback lmao

Euron is gonna save Cersei. He's gotta be going, full on, save the princess mode, ala this old Namco game, Dragon Buster
It did what it was supposed to. Reminded me where the majority of the story arcs are and set up the season. I enjoyed it
Yea I enjoyed it as well. Looks like that's how Jon will come to know Dany.... needing that Dragon glass
That fleet ain't shit with dragons on deck. Only way its a problem is if Dany completely focuses on the white walkers and gets hit in the flank

By RATHasReturned Go To PostHmmWe will get an episode of Jamie acting weird and then we will find out he was Arya all along after she kills Cerci during the sack of Kings Landing 2.0
Btw I get how the faceless men can change faces, but how do they get around the size difference? They probably explained it and I wasnt paying attention
Some thoughts.
Arya is a borderline psychotic in her revenge quest, but she clearly still has a moral compass. Something I was wondering about. I thought she was going to murder those Lanister soldiers she came upon and laughed at her honesty.
Time travel shenanigans involved in getting Euron his fleet is pretty hilarious. They try to play it off like only his best ships were stolen, but there was that whole speech about building him a fleet at the end of last season so lol whatever. I'm curious what he thinks will be a worthy gift of trust for Cersei. Tyrion? A way to control Dragons?
Sansa has been molded and shaped for the politics King's Landing and Westeros in general. John is still all about being that honorable man that got him killed the first time.
Jamie sees what's coming. He sees the crazed look on his love sisters face and knows winter don't give a fuck.
How many episodes until John and Danny bone?

By Ciaran Go To PostWe will get an episode of Jamie acting weird and then we will find out he was Arya all along after she kills Cerci during the sack of Kings Landing 2.0They never did. I just consider it the Mission Impossible face = full body technology. Arya met Jaquen when he was a black guy in the second episode of season 5. It's the kind of thing you just hand wave it and go along with. They haven't gone Face/Off with explaining the body sculpting part of it.

I can understand both points and would still go with what Jon did. The ramifications might bite my ass in the end, but ok. For those houses, the kids are are left behind to lead them. They are of an age that can be molded for the better. To strip them of everything would lead to resentment down the line over this "bastard" ripping their homes and lineage from them. Let em keep it and build towards are partnership of doing the right thing an working with the Starks. You could go all ruthless, but then you end up like Cersei and Jaime and all your kids are dead, you have weird family dynamics between remaining siblings and isolation. If Sansa wants to be Cersei 2.0, then best of luck with that.
