It's a kinda fun team-based multi-player game with pretty art but confusing and too-busy UI. Basic gameplay is third-person hero shooter with platforming elements. Main objective is to gather resources to make enemy base vulnerable and then kill it.

By Diego! Go To PostPicked up the new metroid game yesterday. Bought it digital because I was too hung over to go to the shops and wanted to get stuck in immediately. It came with a "theme" which now means my 3DS plays metroid music and sounds when I am in the home menus. It is the bollocks.
Game is also very good so far but I have only played it for a couple of hours.

Runs at full speed on a custom Citra build I tried. For the handheld console conscientious objectors amongst us.

Finished Yakuza Kiwami and it left me the same way Yakuza 0 did. Not interested in Yakuza 6 but wanting a Kazama led game set in the 70s

I think I legitimately played Max Payne 1 from start to end more than 20 times during my childhood

one of my favourite games of all time, could never get bored of it. moody and stylish, clever writing and one-liners, great atmosphere, soundtrack and super solid gameplay. the relief when I managed to download 20 MB mods on dial-up before discovering download managers. the kungfu mod, the "hitman" mod with the minigun, some great stuff there.

Wtf was that blackface, minstrel show, every stereotype minus chicken and watermelon, character on the Sony TGS stream? It will never see the light of day over here in the states, but Christ that's something.

I'm currently playing an ATV game on the PS3 called, Pure. It's from Disney and its pretty good!

I popped GTA 4 in earlier to mess around a bit with Gay Tony and Christ that game has not visually aged well. Grand Theft Aliasing.

It is good. I remember playing the shit out of the demo.

Update: Ended up getting a nonXL new 3DS. Actually had a really nice person at gamestop let me full around with all of them. New 2DS XL felt really light and cheap. New 3DSXL was nice but a little to big and bluky. regular new 3ds was a good size and the bad 3ds graphics look seemed to look better on a smaller screen. Plus what I can gather the resale value on this model holds better than the others. Also the 3d was neat enough gimmick to entice me.

I play the DS mostly usually when I'm about to head to sleep. Unfortunately, I'm near-sighted and take out my contacts before heading to bed, so I'm unable to take advantage of the 3D. :(

New trailer for Monster Hunter World, which honstely looked miles better than the E3 unveiling.
13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim from Vanillaware with the first proper trailer.
Final Fantasy 9 for the PS4 with upgraded textures, speed mode and all those things got released today.
Left Alive, "spiritual sucessor" to Front Mission with art from Yoji Shinkawa (MGS artist), they're gonna release a proper trailer once TGS kicks off properly.
New Shadow of the Colossus Remake trailer, looked pretty good.
Dragons Crown will get a PS4 port with 4k mode and all that stuff.
Zone of the Enders 2 Remake/Remaster with 4k textures and more visual stuff, on top of full VR support.
New Earth Defense Force trailer and a new EDF game announced, the latter finally had decent visuals.
First trailer from the new Fist of the Northstar game from the Yakuza studio.
New trailer for Final Fantasy Dissidia with a new UI.

Missing some things, but just fucking watch the conference yourself :P
Not alot of new things announced in general, but I bet we still get some new things during the actual TGS.

Never properly played it. Only a few minutes due the game being on PS+ for Vita.
Looking forward to it, I really dig the art from Kamitani. The backrounds are wonderful.

I wish we would have art like that more often, same goes for pre-rendered backrounds like REmake and the likes.

This might be the first version of FF9 that I don't bite on immediately. Had a moment of weakness and almost copped the PS4 version knowing full-well it was the lame PC version port, and I got an error that said they were doing maintenance on the store. Saved me $18 bucks too.

The pluses that the PC/mobile version brings (better graphics, various perks/cheats + fast-forward) aren't enough to combat the hideous and intrusive UI. Maybe on a sale, but for now I have 3 other versions of FF9 I can play.

Kinda looking forward to PS4 Dragon's Crown though. Played it for a minute on the Vita when it was a PS+ game, but never actually beat it.
